چکیده
We explain (following V. Drinfeld) how the G(C[[t]]) equivariant derived category of the affine Grassmannian can be described in terms of coherent sheaves on the Langlands dual Lie algebra equivariant with respect to the adjoint action, due to some old results of V. Ginzburg. The global cohomology functor corresponds under this identification to restriction to the Kostant slice. We extend this description to loop rotation equivariant derived category, linking it to Harish-Chandra bimodules for the Langlands dual Lie algebra, so that the global cohomology functor corresponds to the quantum Kostant-Whittaker reduction of a Harish-Chandra bimodule. We derive a conjecture of [11], which identifies the loop-rotation equivariant homology of the affine Grassmannian with quantized Toda lattice.

Equivariant vector bundles on group completions
In this paper, we describe the category of bi-equivariant vector bundles on a bi-equivariant smooth (partial) compactification of a reductive algebraic group with normal crossing boundary divisors. Our result is a generalization of the description of the category of equivariant vector bundles on toric varieties established by A. As an application, we prove splitting of equivariant vector bundle...
متن کاملKostant Modules in Blocks of Category O S
In this paper the authors investigate infinite-dimensional representations L in blocks of the relative (parabolic) category OS for a complex simple Lie algebra, having the property that the cohomology of the nilradical with coefficients in L “looks like” the cohomology with coefficients in a finite-dimensional module, as in Kostant’s theorem. A complete classification of these “Kostant modules”...

متن کاملSchubert Classes of a Loop Group
The philosophy is that working in the topological category (with compact rather than algebraic groups) gives extra flexibility which simplifies the constructions. For example, homology factorization happens because the BottSamelson variety is topologically a direct product, even though algebraically it is a non-trivial fiber bundle. Bott and Samelson exploit this flexibility to construct the Po...
متن کاملOptimal reduction
We generalize various symplectic reduction techniques of Marsden, Weinstein, Sjamaar, Bates, Lerman, Marle, Kazhdan, Kostant, and Sternberg to the context of the optimal momentum map. We see that, even though all those reduction procedures had been designed to deal with canonical actions on symplectic manifolds in the presence of a momentum map, our construction allows the construction of sympl...
